YACF CAS Sports Arbitration Event

Welcome to YACF’s breakfast seminar on 5 March 2026 at Hannes Snellman to learn about arbitration at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

At this event, Hannes Snellman's Partner Markus Manninen will explain what CAS arbitration is and examine how it differs from conventional commercial arbitration.

Markus regularly represents Finnish and foreign corporations in both domestic and international ad hoc arbitrations and in arbitrations administered by various institutional rules. In addition, he frequently serves as an arbitrator in commercial disputes. Markus has been on the closed list of CAS arbitrators since 2011 and served in the CAS’s Anti-Doping Division at the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games and the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games. In addition, he will act as an arbitrator for the CAS’s Anti-Doping Division for the Olympic Winter Games 2026 in Milano Cortina.

The language of the event is Finnish.
